Ultra-light feather and down with special heat preserving features is used in the production of Naturtex duvets and pillows exclusively. The covering of Naturtex down filled beddings is made from fine cotton yarn with special down- and feather-proof weaving and finish, which prevents the feather coming through. Naturtex ltd. uses only the best quality new feather and down originating from Hungary.

Excellent environment-friendly German and Swiss detergents are used to clean the feather. It is completely cleaned during the washing and rinsing phase and then dried at 120°C for 30 minutes. By this method feather becomes completely antibacterial. The feather sterilized this way is then deducted to protect sleepers even from the least dust irritation. All the phases of processing go through a very strict quality control. By the time that the processing is finished the feather and down filled in our products are completely free of bird flu or any other bacteria or virus.

Useful tips for customers: When buying a duvet, it is worth taking into consideration the fact that the higher proportion of down in the interior of the duvet results in a lighter and warmer product. When choosing a pillow the main guideline that can help you is your preference of pillow types in terms of softness, flatness, and thickness. If you like thicker and harder types, you should definitely choose one with a higher proportion of down filling.
